Our motto is "creating community through great music." activists will also include educational outreach to the local school districts and student arts organizations to promote the development of a new generation of chamber music lovers.”

“The production of excellent affordable chamber concerts. Through the organization's 8th season, concerts continue being performed to nearly sold-out audiences. The ticket prices remain affordable, at 32 or less. Amici continues to perform at least one concert per season at the shedd institute for the arts. Over 1500 seats were filled at the wildish theater and shedd institute venues combined. (secondarily, the concerts of chamber music amici, as a resident company of the wildish theater in downtown springfield, oregon, will help accomplish that tax-exempt organization's mission of bringing people to downtown springfield and enriching the community with excellent and affordable entertainment.)”

“Educational outreach. For the first time chamber music amici brought workshops to the students. Thurston high in springfield, cottage grove high school and lincoln middle school in cottage grove (82); guest musicians, allan vogel (oboe) and janice tipton (flute) each gave a master class at the university of oregon (22). Chamber music amici engaged and performed for students at riverbend elementary (200), page elementary (90), a3 high school (12) and at ophelia's place in eugene (29). Visits to headstart programs continued (45). Chamber music amici continues to offer up to 15% of available tickets to students at a discounted price of 5. Both the outreach activity and the student discounted tickets are directed at accomplishing the organization's goal of promoting the development of a new generation of chamber music lovers.”

“Community outreach chamber music amici continues to perform at a local retirement center (304) prior to each performance at the wildish theater at no cost as one way of accomplishing its motto of "creating community through great music." chamber music amici hired student musicians to play at the cascade manor (35), in order to bring quality music to other local settings and communities. This year chamber music amici also hired young musicians to perform for cascade manor during lunch (30) and another time for a garden party (12).”

“Art contests- chamber music amici continues to hold an annual art contest to select artwork for use in the upcoming concert season's marketing materials. Art work from five selected winners will be used in the upcoming concert season's program and other marketing materials. Grants: 0. Expenses: 1467. Composition contest- the composition contest from last season concluded with the performance of the winning work at our february concert. The winning composer was present and conducted a preconcert talk about his work and the winning piece. Grants: 0. Expenses: 600.”
