Activity 2

Training fulfillment - pca delivers its training primarily through live workshops led by certified pca trainers. This network of 100+ men and women includes several dedicated staff, but consists mainly of contracted sports psychologists, coaches and teachers, who are stringently auditioned and required to deliver at least one workshop per month in order to maintain certification. Pca also delivers training via online courses, which are highly interactive and rich in video featuring nationally known coaches and athletes who serve on pca's national advisory board. During this year, pca delivered a total of 1,233 live workshops and 22,127 online workshops were completed.

Activity 3

Program delivery - includes all grant-funded programs such as the following: the triple-impact competitor scholarship program sponsored by deloitte and thrive foundation for youth which awarded 73 scholarships totaling $146,000 for the current year. The tic scholarship program is part of our thriving athlete initiative which also included the student-athlete leadership conference, the national student-athlete board, as well as funding to underwrite the cost of the new book written by jim thompson for the student-athlete entitled "elevating your game", published during the current year. Other programs include our bechtel funded partnership with the amateur athletic union (aau) who mandates that all of their coaches complete our online pca's double-goal coach training; and the partnership with the university interscholastic league (texas) where an abbreviated version of our double-goal coach training is embedded in the mandated uil training for every high school and middle school coach in texas.
