The intention of these events is to provide attendees with a new perspective on what is being created for Broadband providers and users alike. The Forum works to highlight new technologies that help, providers to deliver high value services across the whole broadband ecosystem.

In addition, the Forum has begun developing a new website. Lastly the Forum is actively working to bridge the gap between standards originations and open source projects by developing and deploying their Open Broadband (OB) project. OB is a collaborative industry resource space for the integration and testing of new open source, standards-based and vendor provided implementations.
