The organization has a policy of appropriating for distribution each year up to 5% of the fair value of the endowment assets. In addition, the organization's board of directors have committed to investing up to $3m of the endowment to support the organization's growth. $1m was transferred in fiscal year 2019 and $850,000 in fiscal year 2020.
