IRS990/Description0In the world of nonprofits, Ticket Servant is unique. In fact, it may be the only nonprofit whose exempt purpose is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ by providing low cost ticketing services to other nonprofits and religious organizations. Since it began operations in July 2001, the opportunities for Ticket Servant to serve other nonprofit ministries have grown tremendously proving that their ministry is filling a great need in the Christian concert and event world. Without a low cost ticketing solution, nonprofit ministries are forced to pay exorbitant fees to commercial ticketing companies which drives the cost of tickets up. When the purpose of a concert or event is to reach lives for Christ and not to make a profit, making a ticket affordable to an event is mission critical. [Continued on Sch O]Ticket Servant's partnership with like minded ministries during the last fiscal year helped make 24 Christ centered concerts possible bringing over 69,000 people together to worship and to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Like most nonprofits, the support of volunteers is needed to accomplish the mission. Ticket Servant had approximately 160 dedicated volunteers that served in various ticketing roles at the concerts including working the ticket windows, scanning tickets at the door, and working as ushers when needed.
