A code compliance award in the amount of 1,500 to the city of longview provided funds for cameras to be installed as a means of detecting and deterring illegal dumping as a part of the keep longview beautiful litter prevention program. A grant of 750 was also awarded to the city of longview for its "connect longview" program which assists citizens who are unable to achieve compliance with code violations as a part of the klb litter prevention program. The city of longview received a grant in the amount of 1,500 for its "longview green and clean" program in connection with its waste reduction program. And a local business was awarded a grant in the amount of 1,500 to assist in the placement of a bronze statue at its new facility, consistent with the klb beautification initiative.”
