“The organization continued all of its program activites in the areas of beautification, waste reduction, and litter prevention/abatement. During 2020, as a result of the covid-19 pandemic, however, certain activities were reduced or restricted. In collaboration with the texas department of transportation, the organization assisted with the design, construction, and funding of the cost of two entrance signs at significant entryways to the city of longview. These projects were completed in spite of the covid-19 pandemic because they were generally outdoor activities that could be conducted with safe distancing and other protective measures.”

“The organization provided playground equipment and a bronze sculpture to beautify and attract community participation in the city of longview parks and recreation areas. The bronze sculptures are an ongoing initiative carried out through the keep longview beautiful "art from the heart" program.”
