Activity 2

In the counties of midland, ector, pecos, brewster, jeff davis, culberson, hudspeth and presidio, the center provided 671 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities services designed to assure a satisfying and productive life. Consumers are provided stable home living environments through group residential homes and foster care services. Community based consumers are provided community support services to assist family members with difficult personal care tasks. Day habilitiation and vocational services provide a workshop setting for consumers to attend during the day. Case management services provide a comprehensive care plan for each consumer's individual needs. Early childhood intervention services were delivered in the counties of midland, ector, pecos, brewster, jeff davis, culberson and presidio to 859 infants ages 0-3 with developmental issues to improve their quality of life.

Activity 3

The center provided 1,094 individuals with addiction treatment services. The servcies available include residential treatment, specialized outpatient programs for counseling to youth 14-17, a specialized population of females, and adults with co-0ccuring substance abuse and psychiatric disorders, in addition to, traditional outpatient counseling for all other adult demographic populations. The center also provided addiction prevention services to approximately 2,152 consumers in midland and ector counties to youth ages 14-17 and to females who are either pregnant or postpartum.
