Compensation is then approved by the university's board of trustees following recommendations of the executive committee. The last review of compensation was conducted on august 30, 2016 by the executive committee. Instead, the chair of the board presents any compensation decision to the vice president of finance and administration. The review is filed in the personnel file in human resources.”

The consultant used national and regional data including Chronicle of Higher Ed, NACUBO and other University information to recommend compensation.
