Immigrant dignity - keeping immigrant workers and their families secure in their own existing communities. Assisting community members, organizations and individuals, by educating them about the rights of immigrants, the process for adjusting your status, and what family and friends can do to prevent or respons to an unjust removal. Also speaking with policy makers about the need for more cities to recognize municipal identification cards and other alternate forms of identification. Annual campaign - keeping the center's strong staff, volunteers, and member-activists, working together, grow the workers center, locally and regionally, through gifts of time, talent, and money. Fundraising for operations and programs through individual, foundation, and corporate gifts, including events. 40 hours per month or 480 hours per year. Recruit and support volunteers. 15.5 hours per month or 62 hours per year. Lastly, having positive human resources and labor relation by maintaining a positive work environment that pays competitive salary and benefits.
