“Contemporary art month was held during march with 220 artists and 27 businesses participating along with local art organizations and colleges. Artwork was installed in businesses all over the city to promote local artists. An estimated 10,000 people viewed the artwork.”

“People. An altar exhibition was created at the ritz theater by 6 local youth groups and 3 artists. Approximately 600 visitors left messages for deceased loved ones on the rememberance wall which was visited by approx. 6,000 people. Art exhibitions consisted of: "fables & folktales of south texas- and "extravagancia de pinatas". An estimated 50,000 people attended. The loteria corpus christi public mural phase 2, opened october 2nd with 1,591 in attendance, was created by 30 south texas artists on a downtown building wall and is available for viewing by the general public. An estimated 30,000-40,000 people will view the mural annually.”
