The executive committee shall consist of elected officers, the immediate past president and the executive vice president ex-officio. They may exercise the powers of the board of directors when the board of directors is not in session, reporting to the board of directors at its succeeding meeting any action taken.

Any person, firm, or corporation engaged in the electrical construction industry is eligible to apply for active membership in one of the following classifications: contractor member, associate member, honorary member, senior active member, or having held the office of the president. Only contractor members may vote and hold office.

The board of directors shall consist of 2 contractor members elected from each region, 5 contractor members of the executive committee and one industry partner. Officers of the board are elected at the annual house of delegate's meeting.
