In accordance with the organization's bylaws, camp fire usa is a member organization. Classification of membership includes program members, participating members, administrative members, and members at large.

Pt VI, Line 7A

In accordance with our bylaws, the purpose of the annual meeting of the council is to elect officers, directors of the board, and members of the nominating committee.

Camp fire's senior management first reviewed the 990. The 990 was then provided to the finance committee which is comprised of members of the board and community volunteers who have a professional background in finance and/or accounting. The 990 was then submitted to the entire board for their review and acceptance.

All board members and employees are required to complete and sign a conflict of interest statement which is based on the organization's board approved written conflict of interest policy. AFTERSCHOOL - THESE PROGRAMS PROVIDE HANDS-ON STEM BASED PROGRAMS THAT ARE TEKX ALIGNED AND CONNECT YOUTH TO NATURE THROUGH CRITICAL THINKING, LITERACY, AND SCIENTIFIC EXPLORATION. PROGRAMS SERVE PRIMARILY ELEMENTARY THROUGH MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH. PRESCHOOL PARTNERS - CAMP FIRE PROGRAMMING FOR OUR YOUNGEST CAMP FIRE MEMBERS. STUDENTS MEET WEEKLY AT PRESCHOOLS AND ENGAGE IN HANDS ON STEM BASED CURRICULUM FOCUSED PRIMARILY ON NATURE EXPLORATION. TRADITIONAL AND OUTDOOR CLUBS - GROUPS OF YOUTH PRE-K TO HIGH SCHOOL MEETING REGULARLY TO LEARN ABOUT THE NATURAL WORLD, ENGAGE IN SERVICE LEARNING, AND WORK WITH TRAINED ADULT VOLUNTEERS TO PLAN AND IMPLEMENT SPECIAL PROJECTS AND EVENTS RELEVANT TO CLUB MAKEUP.
