Activity 2

Disaster relief: feed the children responds quickly in times of disaster to provide emergency supplies for those in need. Working with its network of agency partners, feed the children delivers millions of pounds of badly needed supplies of non-perishable food items, basic essentials (hygiene and toiletries items), water, cleaning supplies, mre's (ready-to-eat food), as well as books and school supplies.

Activity 3

Education and community development: domestically, feed the children delivers backpacks filled with school supplies, age appropriate books and personal hygiene items, to homeless students enrolled in public schools, helping to provide a sense of normalcy for these children. To date, feed the children has distributed more than 650,000 backpacks. Additional children across the country receive school supplies or children's book each year through education-focused projects, while the teacher's store program provides much-needed school supplies and resources to teachers, free of charge.internationally, feed the children implements community development initiatives, such as clean water and sanitation practices throughout its communities, facilitating point-of-use purification of unclean water and providing technical expertise to construct latrines and to install community wells. Other development and livelihood initiatives include projects in agriculture, aquaculture, bakeries, woodworking, animal husbandry, bee keeping, etc.
