Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The program is to provide community resources and mental health awareness. The program seeks to build self respect, character, leadership, mental discipline, physical discipline and good academic behavior. The program continues to have Zoom Sessions as well as in-person meetings and workshops. Some the things that were covered included race, diversity, what can I do?, how money makes an impact. The program offered workshops and meetings to youth and their parents/caregivers. The program expanded this year to reach out t0 children with autism, sickle cell and at risk boys.

This program is designed to expose young people age 15-18 to the importance of the organizational and social skills necessary to achieve educational opportunities, as well as, emphasize and enhance their mind, body, and spirit. This program seeks to improve the total youth in the community through counseling and tutoring. We will utilize agencies and professionals to help meet the objectives. The program seeks to build self respect, character, leadership, mental discipline, physical discipline and good academic behavior.
