Mission and Program Overview

Mission

East helps schools, facilitators and students better engage technology, service learning and individualized educational goals in a program that's been named a model by the departments of education and labor. East currently supports programs in six states: ar, la, ia, pa, ok, and ca.

East is education accelerated by service and technology. Through east, students are provided with the technological resources and opportunities to grow as learners by applying their learning innovatively as they support their communities. East is inspiring the next generation to dream bigger and work harder to become the leaders of the future -- all while creating lasting impacts in the world around them today. For more than a quarter century, east has seen alumni do great things, such as working in connection with efforts like blue origin (the public/private manned space program) and reporting on natural disasters for the weather channel. These foundations were built through their time in east, as students are presented with the flexibility of time and unlimited possibilities. East currently has programs in over 250 schools throughout arkansas, oklahoma, louisiana and pennsylvania, and has served over 225,000 students in its rich history. Communities with schools that have east have s
