THE LAND IS HIGH-QUALITY GRAZING LAND AMIDST BLUE OAK WOODLANDS AND ANNUAL GRASSLANDS, WITH A QUARTER-MILE STRETCH OF RACCOON CREEK RUNNING THROUGH THE RANCH. 2) DOTY CREEK RANCH PRESERVE IS 186 ACRES OF WORKING WALNUT ORCHARD AND IS NOW THE FIRST PERMANENTLY PROTECTED COMMERCIAL NUT ORCHARD IN PLACER COUNTY.
