The Spahr Center uses appropriate benchmark nonprofit compensation reports to evaluate salary levels. The Board approves the salary of the Executive Director. This process last occurred in FY21-22.

OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: LGBT Senior: The Spahr Center values the well-being of Marin?s LGBTQ seniors and provides outreach and programming to meet their needs. We offer discussion groups, health support services, online and in-person social events, visitation with LGBTQ seniors to prevent isolation and training service providers on effective ALLYship with LGBTQ seniors. Spahr serves approximately 160 LGBTQ senior clients between in person and zoom group meeting and newsletters.

HIV Care services include benefit, advocacy, case management, emergency financial support, mental health support, food and transportation for low-income HIV-positive Marin County residents. HIV Prevention services includes HIV testing and navigation to bi-medical HIV prevention, including post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) and pre-exposure prophylaxis. Spahr serves approximately 200HIV clients in this program and another 600 in HIV Prevention services.
