Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The mission of KidCare International, a relationship-based, humanitarian aid organization, is to equip and empower desperately disadvantaged children to lead lives of purpose, service, and leadership through sustainable programs and strategic partnerships.

Program Services

DescriptionGrantsExpenses
International Programs -Sponsor A Child - KidCare International links caring people with some of the worlds most disadvantaged children by way of our Sponsor a Child program. A full sponsorship helps provide food, shelter, medical care and necessary educational essentials. School uniforms, tuition fees, books, and other miscellaneous supplies are provided for by way of this program. KidCare International worsk with children in schools & orphanages in Russia, Tanzania, South Africa, and Sri Lanka - children who are uncertain of their next meal, spend cold nights on a street looking for shelter, and want a better tomorrow but can't pay the tuition/uniform/book fees for a basic public education to get their dream.A full sponsorship is $30.00/month.Cow, Chicken, Garden Projects -One of the most creative but logical and time-proven ways to provide food and healthy diet for vulnerable children in Africa is the cow, chicken, and garden projects. The idea is to give a source of food while teaching children life-sustaining ethics rather than short-term relief. While some orphanages and care centers are located in the city and are not coducive to this type of enterprise, others are ideally situated in rural sites perfect for agricultural endeavors. With the Cow Project, Chicken Project, and Garden Project, the children learn basic techniques and responsibilities of farming and free enterprise. After the dietary needs of the children are met, excess milk, eggs, poultry, and vegetables are sold at the marketplace, offering additional training and experience in micro-business and basic financing.Beloved Daughter - Beloved Daughter is a holistic prevention, self-esteem, life-skill program to address the underlying contributing factors relating to rising numbers of HIV cases in girls and young women. Many girls are vulnerable to HIV infection because of risky sexual behavior and substance abuse. Beloved Daughter strives to educate and nurture girls and young women gain skills necessary to live a life protected from HIV. The program helps hundreds of girls understand how to reduce their risk of HIV.$41,080-
