A total of 280 wioa adult and dislocated workers exited the program, and 54% of those exited with a positive outcome of employment.”

Our program includes career exploration, job preparation, financial literacy, soft skills training, paid work experience, and more. Upon successful completion of training, program clients are awarded credentials which increase their employability when competing for job opportunities in our community. During program year 2022-2023, the young adult program had a total of 175 enrolled program participants with 38 of those being in school youth (22%); and of those that exited 44% had a positive outcome. The program provided internships to 76 participants and issued 27 scholarships for postsecondary training, as well as 2 on-the-job training (ojt) opportunities. UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF TRAINING, PROGRAM CLIENTS ARE AWARDED CREDENTIALS WHICH INCREASE THEIR EMPLOYABILITY WHEN COMPETING FOR JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN OUR COMMUNITY. DURING PROGRAM YEAR 2022-2023, THE YOUNG ADULT PROGRAM HAD A TOTAL OF 175 ENROLLED PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS WITH 38 OF THOSE BEING IN SCHOOL YOUTH (22%); AND OF THOSE THAT EXITED 44% HAD A POSITIVE OUTCOME. THE PROGRAM PROVIDED INTERNSHIPS TO 76 PARTICIPANTS AND ISSUED 27 SCHOLARSHIPS FOR POSTSECONDARY TRAINING, AS WELL AS 2 ON-THE-JOB TRAINING (OJT) OPPORTUNITIES. COLLECTIVELY, THERE WERE 66 CREDENTIALS EARNED. |
