IRS990/Desc0Expansion of Clinical ServicesDream Big Wellness's biggest accomplishment in 2024 was expanding our clinical services and practice. This expansion supported our mission to increase low-barrier access to art therapy and psychotherapy services across diverse demographics and various financial circumstances. In January, we hired two full-time clinicians who each served 20+ client sessions per week and one part-time clinician to help support our Pay it Forward Program who offered an average of 3-5 sessions per week. In September, our practice expanded again and we hired a new full-time clinician who can serve 15+ client sessions per week. This expansion involved establishing insurance credentialing and billing services, and establishing high quality financial infrastructure and data tracking systems to be able to hire full-time employees. Our practice also applied to medicare.

Dream Big Wellness applied philanthropic funding earned from fundraising and philanthropic relationships to support services to low-income clients in need of access to mental health care. In 2024, we had 22 clients apply to this program, 19 clients from those applications received services, and as of December 2024, we had 3 clients on the waitlist to start at the beginning of 2025.

We achieved this by getting NASW approval for providing Continuing Education Training, and hosted a very successful continuing education retreat for 16 mental health professionals. At this retreat and training, we had 6 different mental health trainers, nutrition counseling, and a massage therapist. We established community partnerships both locally, and with other retreat businesses nationally and internationally to expand our continuing education reach in 2025.
