Increase philanthropic resources in delaware county, pa, to manage charitable funds, to award grants to meet the changing community needs, and to identify and act on community issues.

Part III Line 4A, Statement of Program Service Accomplishments

2013 statement of program service accomplishments in 2013 the delaware county community foundation (dccf) made 49 grants totaling $182,661 to 41 different charitable organization (list of non-profits receiving grants is below). This included $100,000 from the home health care fund to organizations providing home health care for individuals and families in delaware county. In 2013 dccf issued $8,000 in grants for scholarships and supported many other needy non-profit organizations' fundraisers. The hope for children fund was established in 2011 with the mission to provide the children of delaware county who have been impacted by abuse or neglect with a safe environment advancing emotional and physical health, stability and resiliency. Five grants totaling $12,000 were made from the hope for children fund in 2013. Dccf board contributed to operations, the anniversary gala, and donor advised funds established at the foundation totaling $57,528. 2013 dccf grant recipients: 1. Art reach 2.
