Form 990, Part III, Line 4A

2014 statement of program service accomplishments: in 2014, the delaware county community foundation (dccf) made 67 grants totaling $241,536 to 51 different charitable organizations. This included $100,000 from the home health care fund to organizations providing home health care for individuals and families in delaware county. In 2014 dccf issued $33,000 in grants for scholarships, including $20,000 to two local schools through the opportunity scholarship tax credit program. A complete list of non-profit grant recipients is below. The hope for children fund was established in 2011 with the mission to provide the children of delaware county who have been impacted by abuse or neglect with a safe environment advancing emotional and physical health, stability and resiliency. Four grants totaling $11,000 were made from the hope for children fund in 2014. Since making its first grants in 2012, the hope for children fund has granted $35,000 to local organizations serving this vulnerable population. The dccf board of directors made unrestricted annual gifts to dccf totaling $20,300. The board also supported ddcf's fundraising efforts by securing sponsorships for special events and contributing to donor advised funds established at dccf. 2014 dccf grant recipients: 1.
