“Pinocchio's marionette theater's year-round season includes a series of productions performed at the theater for general family audiences as well as students and teachers from various local schools, public and private; church groups; and non-profit organizations focusing on the disabled and underserved. The total number of paid admissions for the year was 21,206. Productions included elaborate musical productions of "the funny bunnies of humflumm farm," "rumpelstiltskin," the classic "cinderella," and the holiday-themed "little drummer boy." pinocchio's also hosted puppet making workshops and events for the local orlando puppet festival, and continued a collaboration with the jim henson workshop in new york and orlando's ibex puppetry to show jane henson's "nativity story" in our theater. As part of our ongoing mission to pass on knowledge of an ancient art form, we introduced shows with an explanation of how our puppets are manipulated.”
