“Jesus last words were, go and make disciples of all nations. For over twenty five years, frontline missions (fm) has sent mission teams into brazil, colombia, venezuela, nicaragua, honduras, guyana, spain, france, and now nepal. Our mission teams assist with feedings, medical clinics, dental clinics, building and church construction, evangelism, discipling and training leaders, gospel outreach to indigenous tribes, and more. Frontline missions partners with various american churches, schools, and individuals in sending missionary teams to accomplish these goals. Our south and central american directors coordinate all aspects of the missions with the american teams. These are great learning experiences for our youth (and everyone) who gain opportunities to build relationships and work closely with other people groups and tribes, taking with them the word. The opening of unreached and unengaged indigenous villages in remote areas to the gospel is one of our favorite projects. 2022 frontline missions abbreviated statistics salvations and recommitments: 2,386 people fed: 47,841 total attending jesus films: 2,301”
“Fm does not just sow funds into the people of brazil. We disciple, encourage, and walk alongside them. Through varied communications, we continue to build leaders for the work of the ministry. Our brazil directors are boots on the ground to strategize, encourage, and meet the needs of the local tribes and ministries. We honor each of our indigenous leaders, brazil directors, and venezuelan refugee ministers who daily pour out their lives to further gods kingdom in the nation of brazil. We also grow our relationships with multiple indigenous tribes. We are honored to empower them to take the gospel of jesus christ to places open only to the indigenous. This is their culture, heart, and dream. Some tribes walk for days, loaded with food and supplies provided by fm to numerous villages throughout brazil, venezuela, and guyana. Fathers, mothers, and children together cross rivers, hike through difficult terrain, and set up camp nightly. Our latest provision was ten donated bicycles to one tribe to cut their trip time in half, so more effort is spent evangelizing. When reaching new villages, the mission's leader talks to the chief of the community for approval to enter and finds the tribal man or woman who ushers the team into the village. This is called a man or woman of peace. The missionary team leads worship and shares the gospel with the village through bible storying and showing the jesus film, using solar powered equipment provided in our jesus film backpack. They share the gospel, teach, worship, and work with the children, establishing new relationships. As the gospel is accepted and the need of a gathering place is apparent, one tribe uses their own resources (as fm supports them), working with people from other communities to build a new round-house structure as a church. Fm also serves the venezuelan refugees in boa vista, brazil through local churches. These ministries bed multiple refugees nightly (50), feed the hungry weekly (250), and minister the gospel of jesus christ to those in need. Hundreds have come to christ through their ministries, and continue their path southernly to other locations in brazil as they resettle. New believers are discipled and raised up as future leaders, being put into action by service. As fm continues to fund these works, we have also given them opportunities to provide for their own families and ministry through business entrepreneur training. This training has allowed the opportunity for these ministries to begin to become self-sufficient. These leaders, among the indigenous and the venezuelan refugee outreaches, are spreading the gospel of jesus christ and growing the kingdom of god in their respective communities. 2022 frontline missions brazil abbreviated statistics salvations and recommitments: 1,661 people fed: 12,865 total attending jesus film: 1,483”
“Gods light shines brightest where darkness exists. So it is in venezuela. This nation has suffered greatly over the past 13 years. However, in the midst of poverty and struggle, our fm venezuela team goes where others will not go. Waiting in line in extreme heat for over 24 hours to receive a mere 10 gallons of gasoline for the sake of continuing the ministry, our missionaries show great resolve and tenacity. Our focus is bringing glory to our lord and touching his people with his love. We have seen god open doors, find governmental favor, and minister faithfully, overcoming obstacles that would stop most missionaries work. One of our teams in the northeast travels to feed over 600 people weekly at a hospital. They go throughout the hospital, ministering, worshiping, and feeding patients and staff. They then host an informal hospital church outside, where hundreds join them for worship, a message, and food each week. Here, hope is offered, healings are seen, and others come into a new relationship with jesus christ. If funds are low or they are not able to go for the weekly feeding and ministry, their phones begin ringing from the hospital staff asking when they are coming again another team in the northeast is centered in a church of faith and prayer. Faithfully starting every morning with 4 am prayer, this vibrant team demonstrates gods love through using the jesus film, youth music school, and feedings to generate hope in the midst of so much despair. Fm empowers them in numerous ways to disciple their people, sharing the gospel of jesus christ throughout their various barrios (townships). Despite continual obstacles, our venezuelan teams bear gods love well; they demonstrate a perseverance and faithfulness that glorifies god and shines his light in a very dark place.”
