Application for membership shall be submitted by paper or online. The staff shall review all applications for business licensure requirements, when appropriate and or necessary, and for payment of the regularly scheduled dues as provided herein and shall submit them to the board of directors at any meeting thereof. The applicant shall become a member upon review as set forth above and upon full payment of the regularly scheduled dues as provided herein, and upon approval by the board of directors. The board may deny anyone membership in the boards sole discretion.”

“Each person, firm, association, corporation, partnership or estate holding active membership in the chamber shall be entitled to cast one vote on the matters requiring a vote of the membership by law or as specifically provided in the bylaws. For this purpose, the only matter requiring a vote of the membership hereunder consists of, and is limited to, the election of the board of directors and officers.”

Any such information regarding business interests of a responsible person or a family member shall be treated confidentially and shall generally be made available only to the chair, the president, and any committee appointed to address conflicts of interest, except to the extent additional disclosure is necessary in connection with the implementation of this policy.”
