Mission

The mission of mca, inc. Is to promote public understanding of both causes and conditions of poverty in the counties we serve and surrounding areas and the attitudinal and institutional barriers to self-sufficiency that low income people face. Our mission is accomplished through advocacy of sound, humane public policies on the problem of poverty.mca, inc. Will encourage self-sufficiency through self-help, individual and community education, and by encouraging opportunities for effective community participation by low-income people.mca, inc. Will improve the quality of life of low-income individuals and families by mobilizing the necessary resources; public, private, financial and human, to support the efficient operation of a range of programs and services to low-income people. The programs and services meet basic survival needs and offer the knowledge, skills, and opportunities necessary to achieve individual, family and community self-sufficiency.
