Mission

Cue art foundation ("cue") is a visual arts center dedicated to creating essential career and educational opportunities for under-recognized and emerging artists of all ages. Through exhibitions, arts education, and public programs, cue provides artists, writers, and audiences with sustaining, meaningful experiences and resources. Cue carries out its mission through its core programs, which include solo exhibitions for emerging and under-recognized artists; an annual fellowship for an emerging curator, mentorship and publication opportunities for emerging writers; professional development workshops for practicing artists; and arts education for high school students.

Non-profit forum for contemporary art and under-recognized artists.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The foundation is exempt from federal income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code ("irc"). In addition, the foundation has been determined by the internal revenue service to be a publicly supported organization as described in section 509(a)(1) of the irc. The foundation had no uncertain tax positions as of december 31, 2019 in accordance with accounting standards codification ("asc") topic 740, "income taxes", which provides standards for establishing and classifying any tax provisions for uncertain tax positions. The foundation is no longer subject to federal or state tax examinations by tax authorities for the year ended december 31, 2016 and prior years.
