In honor of its former Executive Director, Virginia Supportive Housing ("VSH" or the "Agency") established an endowment fund and at December 31, 2014 had approximately $64,500 being held in a savings account. The Agency has decided to invest these funds with The Community Fund Serving Richmond and Central Virginia. Initially, VSH intends to grow the endowment by re-investing any earnings.

THE SOCIAL WORKERS AND CASE MANAGEMENT STAFF PROVIDE THE CARE AND SUPPORT TO FOSTER STABILITY, WELLNESS, RECOVERY AND INDEPENDENCE OF THE RESIDENTS. DURING 2016, A TOTAL OF 544 FORMERLY HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS WERE HOUSED AND SERVED IN THE PROPERTIES OWNED BY VSH. IN 2016, MORE THAN 97% OF THE CLIENTS SERVED BY THE PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING PROGRAM DID NOT RETURN TO HOMELESSNESS.
