BATH COMMUNITY HOSPITAL PROVIDES FREE CLINICS THAT COVER HEALTH EDUCATION TOPICS SUCH AS DIABETES EDUCATION, PULMONARY AND RESPIRATORY ENCOUNTERS, BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENINGS, AND HEALTH FAIR ACTIVITIES. WE HAVE REPRESENTATION FROM SEVERAL COMMUNITY AGENCIES IN ADDITION TO SERVICES OFFERED AT BATH COMMUNITY HOSPITAL. THESE INCLUDE CAPP, BATH AND ALLEGHANY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENTS, SAFE HOMES, BATH COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS, SOCIAL SERVICES, VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH REGIONAL AND LOCAL REPRESENTATIVES, VIRGINIA TECH EXTENSION OFFICES, VIRGINIA STATE POLICE, STUDENTS, PARENTS, AND RELIGIOUS GROUPS.IN ADDITION, BATH COMMUNITY HOSPITAL SERVED 30 PATIENTS THROUGH ITS CHARITY CARE PROGRAM. THE HOSPITAL STAFF SUPPORTED THE LOCAL BATH COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT WITH A DRIVE-THRU COVID-19 TESTING EVENT, ALSO.
