Activity 2

Electoral capacity - during the 2012 election cycle, usaction reached out to make contact with over 698,000 voters through door knocking, phone calls, voter registration, rides to the polls and mail programs. Usaction registered over 27,000 voters. Usaction conducted 907 training sessions for members, constituents, activists and community leaders in 2012, many right after the november elections, to build progressive capacity in the states and keep voters involved

Activity 3

Economic justice -usaction, together with its related organization, usaction education fund, generated over 200,000 grassroots contacts in support or economic justice, including almost 3,000 who told their story in public. Usaction played a major role in the broad progressive effort to end the bush tax cuts for the rich, taking a major step toward restoring tax fairness. In february, usaction and usaction education fund staged a "walk in my shoes" day of action in support of jobless americans, leading events in 14 states.
