Mission

Through open and transparent community participation, PESC enables cost-effective connectivity between data systems to accelerate performance and service, to simplify data access and research, and to improve data quality along the higher education lifecycle.

Major Activities

Activity 2
Standards committee/forum - group formed to study standards-related issues, develop data standards and supporting tools, including a data dictionary for education, as well as work on the u.s. Department of education's national student loan data system (nslds) and nces' common education data standards (ceds).task forces - open, collaborative committees that study processes and how the use of standards increases efficiencies and data quality while reducing cost and redundancy.user groups - open, collaborative committees that maintain existing standards and initiate and track new development efforts on maintained standards.
