Mission and Program Overview

Mission

Isep is a membership network of 323 colleges and universities in the united states and 60 other countries. These higher education institutions facilitate student mobility for academic and cross-cultural learning throughout the network. Nearly 60,000 students have participated in isep programs since its inception in 1979 and isep places approximately 3,000 students each year. The isep membership network is unique in the field of international education as it is the largest worldwide network for exchanges and study abroad. Through isep, institutions have access to a wide range of opportunities for their students that few others could develop or sustain. Isep empowers students to enroll in universities outside their home country for immersion and integration with the local culture and community. Isep also offers a portfolio of short-term and summer programs. Isep provides academic advising resources, staff training, online tools, and student support seminars for its member institutions.
