Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

Generally accepted accounting principles require the recognition, measurement, classification and disclosure in the financial statements of uncertain tax positions taken or expected to be taken in the foundation's tax returns. Management has determined that the foundation does not have any uncertain tax positions or any associated unrecognized benefits that materially impact the financial statements or related disclosures. The foundation believes that its income tax filing positions will be sustained upon examination and does not anticipate any adjustments that would result in a material adverse effect on the foundation's financial condition, change in net assets or cash flows. Accordingly, the foundation has not recorded any tax assets or tax liabilities or related accruals for interest or penalties for uncertain tax positions at june 30, 2019. Generally, the foundation's tax returns remain open for federal income tax examination for three years from the date of filing.
