Mission

To facilitate economic growth and development in Harper County

Major Activities

Activity 2
Housing tax credit project - independent elderly housing known as Sunrise and West Acres family housing project with rent based on income. Both are located in Anthony, KS. The Sunrise Ridge project has been completed, and is currently serving a minimum of 12 with actual number determined by how many residents live in a unit. The West Acres portion of the project is still in process. It includes the total renovation of an existing housing facility that was in need of major repair. Both projects will directly benefit the City of Anthony. Ownership through Rural Development and Interfaith Housing Services. Entire Harper County is benefited by having Interfaith Housing Services in the County.

Assisting in the development of a Child Start program in Harper County. The project was successful, as funding was acquired and project was started in rual Harper County. This project will benefit all of Harper County. It gives children a step up in the learning process and provides a much needed service. Created jobs for instructors and other workers.
