The stemie coalition is born from the nation's increasing emphasis on stem education. While stem provides an excellent opportunity for students to engage in structured problem solving, it does not provide a compete and holistic problem solving experience. The stemie coalition is making an extensive, immediate, and measurable impact on stem (science, technology, engineering and math) by infusing the foundational nature of a stem education with a motivating and collaborative curriculum of invention and entrepreneurship, and inspiring the youth of america not just to solve, but to create, and to share. The stemie coalition mission is to have every child in every school become an inventor and/or entrepreneur, once better twice, in their k-12 career with a 5 year goal to annually train 10 million students in invention and entrepreneurship education in all 50 state plus d.c. As noted above stemie aspirations are to grow its programs to have a global reach so that students are prepared to drive a diverse and sustainable global econmoy.”
