The stemie coalition envisions a world in which all students have access to invention and entrepreneurship education. The stemie coalition is on its way to being a globally-recognized force in enabling every child to gain the confidence and skills necessary to control their own destiny through invention, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Stemie programs fill the gap between traditional stem (science, technology, engineering and math) education and entrepreneurship, giving a capstone experience to the individual skills developed under stem and other k-16 workforce development programs.
The stemie coalition was founded to elevate k-16 invention and entrepreneurship education to higher levels in schools across the united states. Its mission is to engage every student in invention, innovation, and enterpreneurship activities to develop life-long, problem identification, problem solving, entrepreneurship and creativity skills preparing them to become the dynamic workforce of tomorrow.

“The board hired an independent third party to canvas the market for compensation comparables for the ceo and make recommendations to the board. The recommendations were accepted by the board.”
“As key employees are added, the board will seek independent third party recommendations for compensation.”
“The organization's governing documents are available upon written request to the stemie coalition mailing address, 803 warrenville rd, mansfield center, ct 06250.”
“The stemie coalition envisions a world in which all students have access to invention and entrepreneurship education. The stemie coalition is on its way to being a globally-recognized force in enabling every child to gain the confidence and skills necessary to control their own destiny through invention, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Stemie programs fill the gap between tradtional stem education and enterpreneurship, giving a purpose to the individual skill development.”
“In its first year, the stemie coalition received a strong positive response from corporate partners and invention and entrepreneurship program leaders from across the u.s. For its stem+invention+entreprenuership (stemie) focus. It hosted the first national invention convention at the us patent and trademark office in alexandria, va. The stemie coalition received its 501(c)(3) designation september 30, 2016. Critical to stemie's first year successes were the vision, dedication, and hard work of the volunteers and steering committee. The steering committee is at the heart of the coalition collaboration; stemie ceo, danny briere, spent a significant amount of time working with this team to develop the national invention convention program and the integration with their existing invention and entrepreneurship programs. The stemie coalition is born from the nation's increasing emphasis on stem education. While stem provides an excellent opportunity for students to engage in structured problem solving, it does not provide a compete and holistic problem solving experience. The stemie coalition is making an extensive, immediate, and measurable impact on stem (science, technology, engineering and math) by infusing the foundational nature of a stem education with a motivating and collaborative curriculum of invention and entrepreneurship, and inspiring the youth of america not just to solve, but to create, and to share. The stemie coalition mission is to have every child in every school become an inventor and/or entrepreneur, once better twice, in their k-12 career with a 5 year goal to annually train 10 million students in invention and entrepreneurship education in all 50 state plus d.c. As noted above stemie aspirations are to grow its programs to have a global reach so that students are prepared to drive a diverse and sustainable global econmoy.”
