RESOLVED, that Article IV (Committees) be, and hereby is, amended to add the following immediately after Section 2:SECTION 3. The Board may appoint a Resource Board to provide advice and support to the Organization and Board of Directors. Members of the Resource Board shall be elected by at least 2/3 majority vote of the full Board of Directors. Members of the Resource Board may be removed at any time by at least 2/3 majority vote of the full Board of Directors. The Resource Board shall not have authority to vote or take any action on behalf of the Organization or the Board.

IRS990/Desc0CSA Program Our U-Pick It offers people the opportunity to come to the farm and pick their own produce, fruit, and flowers. Our inaugural program served 54 people over a 20-week period. The farm cart is available for people to buy produce, fruit, or flowers on Member Days and pumpkins during October. Education / Outreach298 - Member Day VisitorsMember Days is the 3rd Saturday of the month, typically April through October. The day offers either a cooking demonstration or a workshop on topics such as seed saving, fermenting and bee keeping. A brief tour of the farm is also offered although interaction with the animals is limited. Membership dues enable members to come to a Member Day along with a guest for free. 33 - Private Tours Sweet Farm offers private tours of the farm for up to 6 people @ $150per tour. The tour provides supervised hands-on contact with the animals and detailed information on the individual circumstances that brought these animals to Sweet Farm. Time is spent in the agriculture fields learning how Sweet Farm uses open pollinated and organic growing practices. In September Sweet Farm hosted its first Veggie Fest, The Harvest Moon Festival. This was an all day event that offered a silent auction; a picnic style lunch and a variety of vendors offered their products to attendees.
