To build community through music education and collaborative music-making activities.

The Young Musicians Program served 60 children age 5-12 with weekly music classes in-school and after school. The local children served are nearly 60% English learners, many from low-income families spread across rural West Marin with limited access to music education. The choir scholarship program provided 46 scholarships to low-income children and adults for participation in choral programs. The organization's largest program, West Marin Choir, engaged 130 singers with 115 hours of rehearsal and 7 performances and brought joyful music into the lives of more than 1,300 audience members. El Coro de los Muertos (The Choir of the Dead) performed at West Marins Day of the Dead ceremony and parade, creating the musical accompaniment for this important multicultural community gathering of hundreds of people to honor Latino culture and tradition. The Miwok Music Project held two workshops and taught 50 community members to make their own traditional instruments and learn Miwok songs and chants. The online resource miwokmusic.org reached over 1,100 people seeking information about indigenous music and transcriptions.$89,000-
