Zip Code Wilmington is a nonprofit coding school with the mission of helping Wilmington, Delaware compete globally for good-paying jobs in technology. The Zip Code Wilmington program is comprised of a software development training school and a job placement program. Students spend 12 weeks learning the foundation needed to succeed in software development, and selected graduates move directly into full-time jobs and paid 26-week apprenticeships at area corporations upon graduation. As of December 2018, Zip Code graduated 271 students, with 92% of them placed in paid roles within 6 months of graduating, with annual earnings averaging over $65,000 per year.
