“Item 4a civic & community engagement: acdc continued its civic engagement efforts by registering 3,756 individuals to vote in 2024. This initiative aimed to ensure that more aanhpi community members are represented and empowered at the ballot box. Our annual asian night market attracted over 6,000 attendees and showcased 34 aanhpi-owned food and retail vendors, cultural performances, and traditional asian games. This signature community event fosters cultural pride, supports local businesses, and provides a welcoming space for families to gather and celebrate heritage. Acdc proudly hosted the 10th annual college readiness bootcamp at the university of nevada, las vegas. The event welcomed over 300 high school students and their parents, offering sessions on college applications, financial aid, and career planning. Attendees heard directly from college representatives, current students, and professionals in various fields. In collaboration with the board of regents of the nevada system of higher education and on behalf of the college of southern nevada, acdc supported outreach efforts for the nv grow program, promoting it among nevada-based business owners and entrepreneurs. Our involvement included identifying eligible business, sharing nv grow program resources, and encouraging active participation. We partnered closely with the aapi chamber of commerce to strengthen community outreach and referred at least 3 aanhpi-owned businesses to the program. These efforts aimed to connect local business with the tools, guidance, and support they need to grow and succeed.”

“Item 4b family services: citizenship program: in 2024, acdcs free citizenship assistance program supported 167 clients in completing their n-400 applications, understanding fee waiver eligibility and receiving legal reviews. We hosted in-person workshops with volunteer immigration attorneys and multilingual translators (tagalog, vietnamese, mandarin, spanish) to ensure accessibility. Partnering with unlv boyd school of law, we also offer law students hands-on experience while helping real individuals on their path to citizenship. Our team traveled to harrahs resort in san diego to assist their team members directly. From application to oath, we support each step, culminating in our first naturalizasian ceremony, where we celebrated 30 newly naturalized citizens. In 2024, we moved our health navigator programming, and vaccination and immunization programming to our subsidieary the healthy asians & pacific islanders medical center.”

“Item 4c emergency services: item 4c emergency services: food assistance program - we continued to provide monthly food boxes to low-income and food-insecure families, offering culturally appropriate items such as rice, asian sauces, meat, and produce. In fy 2024, this program served over 11, 000 individuals. Additionally, we hosted our holiday pop-up food distributions in february and november. To support long-term food security, acdc assisted 86 individuals in enrolling in the supplemental nutrition assistance program (snap) during fy 2024, helping them access essential nutritional benefits.”
