“Item 4a outreach & civic engagement: our program included non-partisan voter engagement and census education effort. Our team registered 6,179 eligible us citizens to vote and made a total of 77,766 calls, 3,197 texts, and distributed educational materials at 20,664 doors. In addition, we were able to stage 7 different non-partisan voter protection events with volunteers and engaged with more than 600 voters. We published more than a dozen english & in-language psas on voter education and voter protection to increase visibility of key races to asian and youth voters. We also held our 7th annual college readiness bootcamp to educate students and parents on how to prepare for higher education that benefited 200 students and parents. In addition, we held an online graduation ceremony to celebrate asian american & pacific islanders graduates from statewide higher institutions. The citizenship program program includes assistance in the preparation of the n-400 naturalization applications for eligible legal permanent residents. The program served approximately 136 people for the fiscal year of 2021 and saved the members of the public over $100,000 in legal fees. Acdc staff also conducted civic online classes to prepare the applicants to take the civic test during the naturalization process. All of the services provided are free of charge to the clients.”

“Item 4b family services: health navigator program - in partnership with the silver state health insurance exchange, the health navigator program enrolled a total of 567 and assisted 251 consumers regarding medicaid/medicare services and eligibility. Since the health navigator program began in july 2018, we have enrolled a total of 1,312 in affordable qualified health coverage (qhp) and assisted 620 clients that would be eligible for medicaid/medicare. Vaccination & immunization program - between april and december of 2021, more than 1,543 covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered and 38 clinics hosted at various vaccination sites such as: shanghai plaza, churches and temples and other aanhpi events. We have continued to provide yearly flu (influenza) vaccination for all our community members and have vaccinated a total of 285. Operation home! Rapid rehousing program - this short-term program from july 2021 to june 2022, we were able to rapidly re-house 26 community members including 19 of their household members who are at risk of severe illness from covid-19 are are in need of a home in southern nevada.”

“Item 4c emergency servcies: food assistance program - in 2021, a total of 8,881 aanhpi individuals received monthly food assistance with over 335,200 pounds of culturally-sensitive food consisting of produce, meat, dry goods and rice.”
