“Statera has hosted three annual conferences bringing together women in theater for seminars focused on the mission of the organization. All three conferences have been well attended with praise for the information provided.the third national conference this year in milwaukee, wi brought together over 200 attendees for seminars and two keynote speakers of women of color who manage major regional theaters. Statera has also conducted an active mentorship program for women in theater, which is now nationwide. Chapters of the organization have been established to provide regional access to services, resources and mentorships. To date the mentorship program in chicago and north carolina has matched over 300 women in each area.a free resource directory for women artists has also been launched.”
