Surgical tissue provision eversight international works to eliminate corneal blindness worldwide through eye bank development, clinical training and tissue provision. With more than 75 years of eye banking expertise, we deliver both short- and long-term solutions to transform the lives of more than 12 million people suffering from corneal blindness globally. In 2023, eversight international provided more than 3,800 tissues for transplant and worked with surgeons in 32 countries outside the united states, making the gift of sight possible for many in need. Eversight provided 99 cornea tissues for sight-restoring transplants gratis or at a reduced rate for medical missions and uninsured patients outside the united states. From our eye bank in south korea, we provided for a record 930 sight- restoring cornea transplants for korean patients. Eversight international is focused on meeting the humanitarian need for cornea tissues in countries where sight-restoring cornea transplant procedures would otherwise be completely unavailable. The beneficiaries of eversight international's initiatives include the hundreds of thousands of people who suffer from eye injuries and blinding eye diseases that can be treated through corneal transplantation. In medically underserved areas, eversight international fosters authentic relationships with local leaders to establish culturally informed eye donation frameworks and sustainable eye banking infrastructure. Our experienced team offers vital clinical training and education to eye surgeons and eye bank technicians on the latest clinical methods, improving access to life-changing transplants. Through the incredible generosity of our donors and donor families, eversight international also provides corneal tissue from the united states for transplant and research globally, providing hope for the future and restoring sight to patients in need. Blinding eye diseases affect hundreds of millions worldwide. That means hundreds of millions of people cannot see their loved ones, let alone work to provide for their families. Vision loss results in substantial economic impact worldwide due to the inability of people who are vision impaired to contribute in their communities. Our global mission is informed by and aligns with the united nations sustainable development goals (sdgs), with particular attention given to: 3 good health and well-being, 4 quality education, 8 decent work and economic growth, 10 reduced inequalities and 11 sustainable cities & communities. Eversight international envisions a world without blindness-a world where all people in every community can lead independent, productive lives through the gift of sight. Eversight international empowers communities to take meaningful steps every day to make vision a reality for all.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4B

Clinical training & education in many parts of the world, corneal transplantation is limited by a lack of foundational and advanced clinical training. Eversight is a leading organization in providing training to cornea specialist physicians and healthcare professionals in regions most affected by preventable blindness. We are working with some of the leading corneal surgeons in the world to share skills and expertise with physicians in africa, the middle east, east asia and elsewhere, so they can offer better options for patients and support the development of eye banks in their home countries. 90 surgeons and other clinicians outside the united states received training through eversight international in 2023. Our commitment to clinical training and education is unwavering. We empower eye surgeons and eye bank technicians with the latest clinical methods, enhancing their skills and improving access to life-changing transplants. Through wet labs, didactic teaching courses, and virtual and hybrid trainings, we educate clinicians on the latest techniques so they can have a lasting impact on patients in their community. We have invested in developing robust live and on-demand education resources through eversight academy available for little-to-no cost, including a comprehensive surgeon webinar series and virtual wet lab training curriculum, plus eye tissue and banking education and more. Eversight's continued, effective adaptation to online training and education in 2023 resulted in far greater accessibility to surgeons worldwide. And the butterfly effect of these trainings is incalculable. Each surgical coordinator will impact more lives through their improved knowledge of eye banking and tissue distribution. Each eye bank technician can offer new types of processed tissues to surgeons in their community. Each surgeon can provide better patient care for years to come through advanced transplant techniques. And many may go on to train their peers, exponentially amplifying the impact.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4D

Building sustainable solutions globally, an estimated 285 million people are visually impaired-many with treatable conditions, but without access to care. And 89 percent of vision-impaired people live in low- and middle- income countries. Eversight international is one of the few nonprofit eye bank networks with the expertise, cultural competence and philanthropic support to help developing countries establish their own eye banking infrastructure. We partner with local governments and medical professionals, working together to make sustainable eye banking, donation and transplantation a reality where the need is greatest in the middle east, pakistan and south korea. Eversight international is a trusted and authentic partner in the global mission to eliminate corneal blindness with a fearless commitment to collaboration, allyship and purpose-driven solutions. We are deeply committed to collaboration and work hand in hand with our partners, local government and healthcare leaders to establish culturally sensitive eye donation frameworks and sustainable eye banking infrastructure. We recognize the power of working together to eliminate corneal blindness. Eversight international is a steadfast ally in the pursuit to eliminate corneal blindness. We stand with international communities, offering support, expertise and resources to realize our shared vision of a world without preventable blindness. We don't impose solutions; we listen and learn from local communities. Our approach is rooted in active listening, understanding the unique challenges and tailoring our efforts to address specific needs. It's about being present, empathetic and adaptable. Our concierge approach ensures that every community's unique challenges are overcome. We provide tailored solutions, offering guidance and support every step of the way. Partner success is our success, and we're dedicated to making the journey toward sustainable eye banking as smooth as possible. We bridge knowledge gaps by sharing our wealth of eye banking experience. Eversight international is a resource for knowledge transfer, ensuring that local eye bankers and surgeons are well-equipped with the latest clinical techniques, overcoming barriers to treatment. Everything we do is rooted in our purpose to empower people and transform lives. Adaptability and transparency are nonnegotiable. Eversight international excels in navigating challenges, adjusting to circumstances and efficiently delivering solutions for your community. Transparency in tissue prices and availability is a key component of our long-standing partnerships. Failure is not a setback, but a steppingstone. Eversight international is not afraid to fail because we understand that innovation and success often come from learning and adapting. We're on this journey with our partners, embracing challenges and overcoming them along the way. Eversight international links our partners to an extensive network of resources, ensuring that the right solutions and support are readily available to advance our shared mission. Pakistan is one such country where millions suffer from preventable blindness. In 2019, we worked with pakistan to open its first state-of- the-art eye banks as part of a new national eye banking network. Since then, despite many challenges including severe natural disasters and economic dislocation, our partners in pakistan have continued to advance the cause of cornea donation. With the active advice and support of eversight, our partner organizations have registered thousands of prospective cornea donors and continued to build public support for local cornea donation and transplantation. The work continues-and it has generated a national movement for organ, tissue and eye donor registration led by local professionals who tirelessly educate and advocate for the gift of sight. Eversight provided a record 594 tissues for transplant in pakistan in 2023. Through robust partnerships like these, eversight international e

IRS990/ProgSrvcAccomActy2Grp/Desc0CLINICAL TRAINING & EDUCATION IN MANY PARTS OF THE WORLD, CORNEAL TRANSPLANTATION IS LIMITED BY A LACK OF FOUNDATIONAL AND ADVANCED CLINICAL TRAINING.
