To expand access, Pawsitivity also trained and placed 5 therapy and facility dogs serving veterans in VA hospitals and other clinical settings, allowing one well-trained dog to support multiple individuals. All dogs and training services were provided at no cost to recipients in 2025. Client-reported outcomes included increased emotional well-being, greater independence, and improved daily functioning. |
