Form 990-ez, Part III

Reduce the stigma of addiction, ensure availability of adequate treatment and recovery support services and influence public opinion regarding the value of recovery.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 28

Weekly support meetings - held in multiple counties in ohio and north carolina. Support meetings for anyone touched by addiction with the goal of educating, empowering and embracing all individuals through relevant speakers, open discussion and educational videos. Average attendance at our weekly meeting was approaching 75 family members, those in recovery and those struggling with active addiction. In 2023 that number also included many new individuals and families that found our organization for the first time.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 29

One-on-one phone support - warm line for anyone touched by addiction. Support, guidance, system navigation and referrals given. In 2023 our warm line supported over 300 people via telephone, email and text providing guidance and resources. That's more than 1 a day but when you include the family members that are also helped by the support the "1" person reaching out receives, the actual number of people supported is far greater than 300. Further, we are constantly receiving testomonials from those whose lives were changed by that "1" phone call.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 30

Rally - to unite the people and resources of the miami valley to : - eliminate the stigma associated with addiction and mental health disorders. We had over 3,000 people attending our 10th annual 2023 rally. - educate about addiction and mental health disorders. There was 75 booths staffed from local addiction treatment resources at our 2023 rally. - celebrate and show that recovery is possible and that it works. We had a "recovery countdown" that celebrated individuals that had over 30 years of recovery down to individuals that had as little as 1 day of recovery. It was truly a celebration of all who had taken that step. Our rally is annualy the largest one of its kind in the state of ohio.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 31

Community support - with our programs such as birthday blessings, for love of god, our newly established kinship fund and other miscellaneous outreach programs we have been able to offer support in varying ways and to many local individuals, families and organizations that need emergency funds for things such as daycare, rent, utilities, transportation, food, etc. In 2023 we had over 50 opportunities to provide funds that ultimately made a huge difference in the receipients' lives.
