HOWEVER, THE ORGANIZATION GAVE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN 2022 TO ANOTHER LIKE-MINDED ORGANIZATION UNDER THE FOLLOWING SET OF CIRCUMSTANCES: EMPLOYEES WHO WORK FOR ERI FUNDRAISE ON BEHALF OF THE ORGANIZATION TO RAISE ENOUGH FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO COVER THE ORGANIZATIONS COST OF THEIR SALARIES AND EMPLOYEE BENEFITS WHILE THEY ARE EMPLOYED BY ERI. ONE OF ERIS EMPLOYEES RAISED MORE THAN ENOUGH SUPPORT TO COVER THE COST OF HIS EMPLOYMENT SALARY AND BENEFITS. HE DETERMINED IN 2022 THAT HE WANTED TO START HIS OWN 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION TO SUPPORT PRO-LIFE CAUSES. THIS EMPLOYEE LEFT ERI EMPLOYMENT IN EARLY 2022. ERI, TO BEST HONOR DONOR INTENT WHEN THE GIFTS WERE INITIALLY MADE TO THE ORGANIZATION, TRANSFERRED THE SUPPORT THE FORMER EMPLOYEE HAD RAISED IN EXCESS OF HIS SALARY AND BENEFITS AS SOON AS HE OBTAINED 501(C)(3) EXEMPT ORGANIZATION STATUS FOR HIS NEW ORGANIZATION. THE DONATION WAS TRANSFERRED THROUGH NATIONAL CHRISTIAN FOUNDATION, WHERE THE FORMER EMPLOYEE WAS HAVING ALL OF HIS DONATIONS PROCESSED. ERI HAS COPIES OF THE 2022 BANK STATEMENTS AND CHECKS IT SENT TO NATIONAL CHRISTIAN FOUNDATION TO SUBSTANTIATE THIS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. |
