Upon this review, the return is reviewed by the board, and the board makes a motion to accept the return as prepared, or to update the return for additional changes before the return is finalized and filed

Form 990, Part VI, Line 12C: Explanation of Monitoring and Enforcement of Conflicts

The organization annually has its board of directors complete and sign a survey regarding potential conflicts of interest, if any, with their affiliation to the organization and its exempt purpose and operationswith respect to its staff, the organization conducts ongoing daily discussions with staff about their personal life in the context of daily meetings. This allows for independent assessment of conflicts of interest, as well as self-reporting by any employee to the executive director, of extra jobs worked outside of their duties for the organization.
