The organization incurred and paid management fees of $7,785 for the year ended june 30, 2019 to dashiya management and arcadian management. Dashiya management (for cohif pilot project development): the management fee is equal to 5.5% of rents collected each month, one months rent for leasing fee and one half of any late fees collected.the agreement was in effect until march 15, 2019. Arcadian management: the management fee is equal to 4.75% of total rents collected for cohif pilot project development llc, and 8% of rents collected for community stabilization llc. This agreement was efective as of june 1, 2019.

In may, 2019 cohif, inc. Changed the name and adjusted its model and mission to become boston neighborhood community land trust, inc. The name change was legally registered with the secretary of the commonwealth of ma in february, 2020. While the core mission of the work is largely the same: to keep people in permanently affordable housing by acquiring occupied and other homes- there is a new emphasis to directly engage its residents and other community leaders in the day to day work and stewardship of bnclt and its properties. To this end, bnclt established a policy to fill a third of its board positions with bnclt tenants. Currently, there are 2 bnclt residents represented on the board, with the goal of adding additional tenants in the future.
