“The purpose of the organization is to build and maintain spaces suitable for technical and social collaboration; collaboration on all forms of technology, culture, and craft, colloboration and development of new and/or existing technology, culture and craft, that helps provide communities, families, and/or individuals the tools and expertise necessary to sustainably provide for the humanitarian needs of a community, family, and/or individual; freely share its research and discoveries; using what is learned to teach others, recruit and develop talented members dedicated to these purposes.”

“The organization has seen the addition of new programs, operations and protocols during 2019. The organization has 116 members: 96 are dues paying members. 36 memberss hold rental bay spaces. There were 7 free memberships created through community membership scholarships in 2019 and 13 were reserved and free for staff who do work for the makerspace. New programming was added to the 3d printing lab, textile studio, and the co- lab classroom. The organization held several open houses (open hack & craft) and saw a rise in engagement amoung people ages 25-35 years of age. The youth programming also saw a rise in engagement and enrollment. The organization was the chief organizer for a large city wide event name "worcester on the moon" which celebrated the anniversary of the moon landing.”
