Any potential conflicts must be disclosed to the executive team and brought to the board for adjudication. Any executive team member or board member with a conflict would not participate in decision making relative to a decision they may have a conflict on.”

“The my green lab board convenes a compensation committee to set compensation for members of the my green lab executive team on an annual basis. This committee is informed by benchmarking data and a commissioned study completed in 2023 from an independent compensation consultant. The board reviewed this information and determined compensation for the executive team, and the updated compensation plan was reviewed by legal counsel. The last compensation review occurred in 2024.”

“In order to align with international best practices for certification bodies and to enable further investment to scale the organization's mission and impact, my green lab established a subsidiary, impact laboratories, to serve as its independent certification body. Impact laboratories operates under a license agreement with my green lab to deliver certification services and collect the associated revenues. My green lab retains ownership of the intellectual property comprising the my green lab certification and act ecolabel program standards. My green lab continues to oversee the revision and maintenance of these standards through a voluntary consensus process to ensure they represent the most current and independent consensus of the scientific industry and research community, while impact laboratories conducts independent third-party audits under those standards.”
